Thanksgiving Food Drive
Starting this Sunday, October 18, we will be collecting food for Grand Oak Mission through November 15. Please place donations on the table in the fellowship hallway. Please note that there are 2 tables set out, one is for the food drive and the other for fall fest donations.
New - Young Adults Sunday School Class
If you are 18 to in your 20's, you are invited to our young adult Sunday School class. They meet in half of the choir room at 9am on Sundays. Their first study is Knowing God by J.I. Packer. Teachers are Jeremy & Chelsie Shivers.
Youth Fall Night at Aurora Maize
Get ready for an awesome night at the Aurora Maize on Saturday, October 24, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Cost is just $15, which includes both transportation and your admission ticket. We will tackle the maze, ride the hayride, jump on the giant pillow, and enjoy a classic fall evening together.
- Departure: Meet at the church at 5:00 PM.
- Return: We will be back at the church for pick-up by 9:00 PM.
- Note: Bring a warm jacket, good shoes, and spending money if you want food or treats from concessions.

Fall Fest & Trunk-or-Treat
Wednesday, October 28, from 6pm-8pm
Family Fun with Food, Drinks, Games, Prizes, Crafts, & Face Painting!
Volunteer & donation signups are on a bulletin board in the fellowship hallway. We will need volunteers for the trunk or treat, games, bounce house watch, concessions, face painting, & clean up. Donations for snack cakes, bagged candy, & small prizes are also needed.

January 29-30, 2027 at Spurgeon College @ Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO
The Ready Conference exists to equip youth to defend their faith in our increasingly post-Christian world. One of the ways this conference equips youth is through the various keynote sessions at the conference.
Conference Highlights & Speakers: This year features an incredible lineup of keynote speakers: Jared Bumpers, Sam Bierig, Kyle Worley, Garrett Kell, & Shai Linne will be the featured artist for the Late Night Concert.
Registration & Payment Details:
- Cost: $60 per student (covers registration, transportation, and lodging).
- Early-Bird Deadline: Please ensure all registrations are finalized before November 1st so we can lock in early-bird pricing. This event typically sells out quickly, so register early!
- Scholarships / Financial Assistance: Please do not let finances stand in the way of attending. If you or your student need financial assistance, please reach out to us directly so we can help.

What to Expect Next:
As we get closer to the event, we will send out complete travel details, packing lists, departure times, and full weekend schedules. In the meantime, please join us in praying for our students, church leaders, and the work God will do throughout this conference.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast

Men of all ages are invited to come fellowship and enjoy breakfast together. Coffee available at 7am, breakfast at 8am, cleanup around 9am. Come whenever you can.

Ladies GatheringsOctober 20: Moms of Littles is for moms of infants through preschoolers. They meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month for fellowship and encouragement. Their next meeting is Tuesday, October 20, at
6:30 pm at the Panera (2641 E. Sunshine). If you have any questions, please talk to Jenny Lambert.
October 22: Ladies Luncheon is held each month on the 4th Thursday at 11:00am. All ladies are invited for lunch and fellowship. October's lunch will be held at Godfather's Pizza (1832 S Ingram Mill Rd).
November 2: Scripture Memory Group - Ladies of all ages are invited to come hang out. Join them as they spur one another on towards Scripture memory —whether you’re just starting out or are continuing on a life-long journey to saturate your mind in the Word of God. They meet the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm. The meeting on November 2 will be at Desiré Miller's house. If you have any questions, please talk with Mallory Covington or Desiré Miller.
